IPL 2022: Battle for supremacy between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Cricket News – Times of India

Navi Mumbai: KL Rahul’s elegance and Quinton de Kock’s flamboyance will be pitted against the finishing skills of Dinesh Karthik and Glenn Maxwell when Lucknow Super Giants And Royal Challengers Bangalore struggle in IPL Here on Tuesday.
LSG and RCB entered the match after victories over Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals respectively and both the teams, who have eight points from six matches, would be looking to continue their winning streak.
Against the second-placed Super Giants, RCB will need to address their top-order woes. While skipper Faf du Plessis has failed to set fire since the opening game, opener Anuj Rawat is looking bad.

Virat Kohli’s disappointing season continues. Despite looking in good form, the former RCB captain has failed to score big runs.
However, with the arrival of Maxwell, the team has become stronger. The Australian all-rounder scored 55 runs in 34 balls to regain momentum while chasing the target against DC.
Meanville, Karthik is enjoying his role as a finisher, single-handedly winning matches for his new team.
The veteran wicket-keeper batsman hasn’t put a leg wrong in the ongoing season, playing some fine innings as he bids to make a comeback for the national team. He has been instrumental in helping RCB finish in the top four of the league table.

Engineer-turned-cricketer Shahbaz Ahmed has also impressed with his batting so far.
On the bowling front, Josh Hazlewood bowled an exceptional spell against DC which turned the match in RCB’s favor and the Australian pacer would be keen to continue in the same vein.
Along with Hazlewood, Sri Lanka leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga will be crucial in stopping Rahul and Co, while death overs specialist Harshal Patel will also have to play his part fully if RCB aim to contain a powerful LSG batting unit.
On the other hand, Rahul (235 runs) led the new players brilliantly. The captain himself is in excellent form. He registered his first century of the season against Mumbai and sat in the leading run-scorers chart only behind Rajasthan Royals’ Jos Buttler (272 runs).
LSG also have enough firepower in de Kock, who has displayed great form in recent games, youngster Ayush Badoni, Deepak Hooda and Kunal Pandya to name a few.
The addition of the multi-talented pair of Jason Holder and Marcus Stoinis has added to the strength of the new entrants. Both add more depth to both the bowling and batting.
The pace-spin duo of Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi have managed to hold their own against some of the most established names in T20Is. Cricket,
