IPL 2022, DC vs PBKS: Punjab Kings made a great start in the 32nd match of IPL 2022 against Delhi Capitals at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier, DC won the toss and decided to bowl. At the toss, DC skipper Rishabh Pant confirmed that Sarfaraz Khan has made it to the playing XI in place of Mitsel Marsh. For PBKS, captain Mayank Agarwal came back in place of Prabhsimran Singh and Nathan Ellis came in for Odeon Smith. There was uncertainty surrounding the match after DC’s Tim Seifert tested positive for COVID-19, but the BCCI confirmed that the match would go ahead. Seifert became the sixth member of the DC team to test positive for the infection. DC will look to get back on the winning track after losing to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their previous game. On the other hand, PBKS also lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their previous game. PBKS and DC are ranked seventh and eighth in the table with six and four points respectively.
