“I was busy after playing 2021 IPL for my club. I was not selected after 2021 IPL but it was not in my control.”
On his innings, Patidar said that his ability to compensate for dot balls is his real strength.
“I never feel any pressure because I feel I have the ability to compensate for the points,” he said.
The last over of the powerplay, in which he launched Krunal Pandya, made him believe this could be his day.
“When I give time to the ball, my focus is on it. The last over of the powerplay when Krunal was bowling to me, my execution was fine and I was convinced later. The wicket was very good and I did some good Play shots.” They said.
