Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya has become the fastest Indian to hit 100 sixes in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Hardik achieved this feat during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai on Monday. The all-rounder has achieved this milestone in a total of 1046 balls. He also became the third fastest player in the world to hit 100 sixes after Chris Gayle and Andre Russell of West Indies. He played an unbeaten 50 with the help of four fours and a six.
Coming into the match, top innings from Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma helped Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Gujarat Titans by 8 wickets.

Skipper Williamson played a knock of 57 while SRH’s other opener Abhishek Sharma hit a quickfire 42 to chase down the target of 163 with five balls to spare in the match.
This is Gujarat’s first defeat in the tournament, after winning their first three matches of the Indian Premier League.
