BCCI Secretary Jay Shah along with star cricketer KL Rahul launched the new jersey for the Indian Premier League franchise Lucknow Super Giants. LSG has completely changed the color of its jersey ahead of the IPL 2023 season. KL RahulThe -led side wore a green plus blue jersey in the 2022 season, but they have now switched to a darker shade of blue. Present at the jersey release ceremony were Rahul, Deepak Hooda, Jayden Unadkat, Ravi Bishnoi and Avesh Khan who are part of the 2023 squad. Team owner Sanjiv Goenka was also present at the jersey unveiling ceremony along with team mentor Gautam Gambhir.

LSG will compete in Group A of IPL 2023 along with Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians (MI), Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals (RR), Shreyas Iyer’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Capitals (DC). IPL, LSG had a good performance as they qualified for the playoffs. However, they were defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Eliminator clash.
