IPL Auction 2022: Players sold above ₹10 crore. Complete list

The first day of the Tata IPL auction saw as many players moolah as nine players 10 crore or more in auction. Indian wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan became the second most expensive player after Yuvraj Singh to be bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 15.25 crore. Ishan Kishan was followed by fast bowler Deepak Chahar who was bought for 14 crores by Chennai Super Kings.

The franchise made sense in the overall spending, but didn’t hesitate to loosen the purse strings for accomplished artists, especially Indians.

In US dollar terms, there were over 20 million purchases, the biggest ever in any IPL auction, with most of the beneficiaries being Indian T20 specialists.
