Chennai Super Kings: Four-time champions CSK retained Ravindra Jadeja (Rs 16 crore), MS Dhoni (Rs 12 crore), Moeen Ali (Rs 8 crore), and Ruturaj Gaikwad (Rs 6 crore), but none for the likes of Suresh Raina. There was no place. Faf du Plessis and Dwayne Bravo. These three, especially Bravo and Raina, have been an integral part of the CSK set-up for quite some time now but it appears that the franchise has decided to look further into the future.

Royal Challengers Bangalore:After AB de Villiers announced that he would no longer be a part of the IPL, RCB did not have many tough options to choose from.
