The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation said that the acquisition of Trainman, an authorized train ticket booking agent of IRCTC, by Adani will not have any impact on IRCTC. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh had tweeted that ‘Adani will first compete with IRCTC and then take over’. In response, IRCTC said that there is no threat or challenge to IRCTC from this development.
