IRCTC to start Buddhist circuit trains in January. Fares, View Other Details

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced Bharat Darshan Special Tourist Train, which will cover four Buddhist destinations including Bodh Gaya and Kushinagar. NS Indian Rail The tour package will start from January 23, 2022 to January 30, 2022. According to the IRCTC website, tourists opting for the Lord Buddha Yatra destination package will be able to board and deboard the train from Akola-Badnera-Dhamangaon-Wardha-Nagpur. – Betul – Itarsi.

The 7 nights/8 days package will include Bodh Gaya (Gaya) – Sarnath (Varanasi) – Lumbini (Nautanwa) – Kushinagar (Gorakhpur).

Train fare to Buddhist destinations by IRCTC:

As per the official website of IRCTC, the fee for standard category is 7,560 per person, while for the comfort class, it is 9,240 per person. However, booking is free for children below 5 years of age. Bit children above 5 years of age will be charged as per adult fare.

It further states that Leave Travel Concession (LTC) will be issued to tourists availing Bharat Darshan Yatra after the completion of the journey. LTC will include only train fare and road transfers.

IRCTC said that passengers will have to bring pillows, sheets, nylon rope for drying clothes, lock and key with chain to secure luggage, bucket with mug, torch light, umbrella, medicines, plates, glasses etc. In addition to this, passengers will also have to carry driving license, voter ID card, Aadhar card, PAN card) as proof of identity for cross verification.
