Israel will allow citizens of mid-risk countries to visit – Times of India

New Delhi: Israel said on Monday it would accept foreigners with an estimate covid immunity from medium-risk countries next week, partly in response to the withdrawal of a ban imposed in late November omicron Type.
The health ministry said that, as of January 9, foreign travelers from 199 “orange” countries will be admitted if they can prove they have been vaccinated or have recovered from COVID. Orange-listed countries include Australia, Italy and Ireland. it recommended that South Africanigeria, Spain, Portugal, France and Canada, out of 16 countries currently listed as “red” or high risk, will be changed to “orange”. The decision came as Israel began giving a fourth vaccine shot to more than 60 people and health workers.
