India has rejected China’s statements and objectionable categories regarding Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh. China has Amit Shah Arunachal’s visit was termed as a violation of sovereignty. China claimed that the visit to the region was a violation of Beijing’s territorial sovereignty. Rejecting this statement of China, India’s Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, ‘We completely reject on behalf of the official spokesperson of China. Indian leaders and ministers regularly Arunachal Pradesh travel the state like they do in any other state in India.”

A spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs said, “Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will remain an ambiguous and demarcated part of India. There is no objection to such an objection. The reality relating to it will not change.”
Earlier, Amit Shah had replied to China from Arunachal. He said that no one can question the “territorial integrity of India”. Shah said, “None of us can take even an inch of land.” The Home Minister has launched several schemes in Arunachal’s Kibithu village expressing uncertainty from the Centre. This village is situated on the border of India and China.

Amit Shah said, ‘No one can see the border of our country with folded eyes due to the valor of ITBP and Army SEALs. Now that ocean has gone when anyone could occupy the land of India. Today no one can capture the ground even with the tip of a needle.

Terming the visit to Arunachal Pradesh as a violation of its sovereignty, China threatened India that his visit could be a threat to peace and the status quo of the two countries on the border could fail.

Recently, China changed the names of 11 places in Arunachal Pradesh. After which this visit of Amit Shah took place. India has also rejected the changed names from China.

China claims an area of about 90 thousand square kilometers including the entire Arunachal Pradesh. They call it Jangnan and consider it a part of South Tibet.
