Kolkata: Jadavpur University Ranked fifth in the Arts and Humanities stream – among the best Indian institutions (within a range of top 500 institutions across the world). QS World University Rankings Subject by 2022. Jadavpur University and IIT Delhi are ranked within the range of 401–450 worldwide along with Jawaharlal Nehru University (188), Delhi University (227), IIT Mumbai (333). JU is also the only state university in India to be ranked in Arts and Humanities stream.
