Vijayamma said she was stepping down as the honorary president of the YSRC to avoid any unwanted controversy over her role.

It is difficult for me to continue as the honorary president of YSRC, Vijayamma said. “I never thought that such a situation would ever arise. I don’t know why this happened, but I think it is God’s decision.”
