Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s recently released film ‘Jug Jug Jio’ has managed to impress the audience a lot. The film has set up cash registers across the country. It opened to positive reviews and fans also liked the story and performances. On Day 6, 29th June, Jugjug Jio did good business and collected a total of Rs 48 crores. The initial estimate for the film on Wednesday is around Rs 3.90 to Rs 4 crore.

Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani starrer Jagjag Jio had a good start at the box office. Occupancy was around 20 per cent on the first day with good business in North India, which is a Hindi belt. According to reports, the film collected around Rs 9.28 crore on the first day. Movies usually see a drop on Wednesday, but strong numbers on Tuesday have given trade confidence that the film may hold a steady hold throughout this week. According to Pinkvilla’s report, Jagjag Jio’s total earnings in six days is around Rs 48.65 crore.
Not only this, the film has become the fifth highest grossing Hindi film of the year domestically after The Kashmir Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Gangubai Kathiawadi and Samrat Prithviraj. Considering the lack of competition from Hindi theatrical releases, Jugjug Jio is raking in around Rs 13 crore in its second weekend. The overseas numbers have ensured that the film will cross the Rs 100 crore club worldwide.

India Today critic Tushar Joshi gave Jagjag Jio 3.5 stars. In his review, he wrote, “Jug Jug Jio’s biggest strength lies in the fact that it is able to showcase the strength of its entire star cast in the best possible way.” She also found the film, “Thodi Long Hai which is nothing new to show the fun side of a Punjabi wedding. Some of the scenes have been shot in such a way as to make their way into Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap. The film Has loud background music and dialogue that exceeds normal decibel levels.”
