Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, on 07 April, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the BJP is considering replacing Jai Ram Thakur with Union Minister Anurag Thakur as the chief ministerial face in the upcoming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. “Arvind Kejriwal went to Himachal Pradesh yesterday and got a great response. BJP is so nervous that it is going to change its chief minister there. Our reliable sources told us that after the failure of CM Jairam Thakur for 4.5 years, BJP will make Anurag Thakur as the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh,” Sisodia said. Responding to his statement, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur denied all claims made by Sisodia.
