Jake Paul and Khamzat Chimayev Trade Heated Barbs on Twitter

American YouTuber Jake Paul’s beef with Khamzat Chimayev doesn’t seem to be dying. The joke between the two turned ugly after Chimaev recently claimed that he could defeat both the Paul brothers, Logan and Jake, in one night. The rising UFC welterweight star is known for indulging in frivolity, but posted on Twitter on Tuesday that he would “smash” the Paul brothers in a boxing match on the same night. ‘Borz’ also includes another tweet of a photo with Logan Paul, which is proof that he has trained with him before.

Well, it didn’t take long for Jake to respond to Chimaev’s barb on the microblogging site. Boxing’s ‘Problem Child’ reacted by claiming that Chimaev was “just another UFC fighter pretending” he can box. He advised Chimaev to worry about his financial situation in the UFC and also suggested that he “sit down, shut up and pray,” so that he could get paid fairly.

The Russian-born Swedish professional immediately had another reaction to Jake’s tweet, with some words made famous by former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. “You number one crap bro,” Chimaev wrote on Twitter.

If that wasn’t enough, Chimaev shared another post in which the Paul brothers’ heads are visible on mounts, while the UFC welterweight can be seen holding a phone in his other hand with a rifle in his ear. But that post doesn’t exist yet.

In all likelihood, Chimaev needs to be mindful of Jake Paul’s skills as a boxer. The American YouTuber, who is also a professional boxer, is unlikely to go into MMA, but he has beaten former MMA champions Ben Askren and Tyrone Woodley in the boxing ring to start his career 4-0.

Chimaev, on the other hand, remains undefeated 10-0 in MMA, including his first four UFC fights. The 27-year-old successfully recovered from a protracted battle with COVID-19 and made a stellar return to the octagon by defeating Li Jingliang at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi last month.

However, a fight with either of the Paul brothers is not on the horizon in the near future, especially after UFC president Dana White mentioned in the past that he has no plans to schedule one, as mmajunkie.usatoday.com report good.
