Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) on Saturday released a revised schedule for entrance examinations for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with the exams commencing from the second week of June. The entrance exam for non-CUET courses was scheduled to begin from June 2. However, as per the new notification, the entrance exam will start from June 11.
“The Vice-Chancellor (Najma Akhtar) is very pleased to reschedule the dates for the entrance examinations in view of the extension of last date for filling CUET form and the ongoing regular examination of CBSE,” the university said in the notification. Earlier, May 13 was the last date for submission of admission forms. Last month, Jamia released its admission details and said that the online admission forms were made available from April 14. The university had earlier announced that admission to 10 courses would be through CUET.
