Jamia Millia Islamia Launches Master in Design

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) Launched the Master in Design (MDes) course for the current academic session in a virtual ceremony today. Initially, the department will offer MD to its students, although there are plans for graduate studies and research degrees in the future, the university claims.

Current areas of focus of the department include product design, interaction design, and communication design. Jamia says, “The idea of ​​creating new departments lies in providing experiential education to the students as well as preparing them for the future of jobs in India.”

Professor Farhat Bashir Khan will lead the establishment of the department, who is credited with over three decades of leadership experience in academic and professional practice.
