JEE Advanced 2022 Syllabus released by IIT Bombay at jeeadv.ac.in

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has recently released JEE Advanced 2022 syllabus on the newly launched official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can download the PDF format of the syllabus which contains the details of all the three subjects including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

This year IIT Bombay has revised the syllabus for JEE Advanced 2023 exam and the revised syllabus is uploaded only. It is available on the official website -jeeadv.ac.in, or visit: https://jeeadv.ac.in /syllabus /combined-syllabus.pdf JEE Advanced syllabus includes all the subjects that will be part of JEE Advanced 2022 exam, the dates for which have not yet been announced by the National Testing Agency. It is to be noted that IIT Bombay will be conducting JEE Advanced exam this year.

subject wise syllabus

As per the syllabus, the syllabus of chemistry is divided into three parts: physical chemistry, organic chemistry and inorganic chemistry. In the paper, students will have some common topics from the Physical Chemistry stream that they have studied in class 11 and 12. These topics include, concepts of atoms and molecules, Dalton’s atomic theory, mole concept, chemical formulas, balanced chemical equations, neutrality. and displacement reactions.

Other topics in the stream are gaseous and liquid states, atomic structure and chemical bonds, energetics, chemical equilibrium, electrochemistry, etc. Further part of the paper for Inorganic Chemistry will include questions on isolation, preparation and properties of various metals and compounds.

In addition, definitions and characteristics of 3D series transition elements, ores and minerals and extraction metallurgy are also part of the course. The preparation, properties and reactions of alkanes and alkynes are part of the organic chemistry curriculum along with various other topics.

The mathematics syllabus is the same as the previous year, with topics from Algebra, Matrix, Probability, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Calculus and Vectors. Six areas of physics are included in the physics curriculum, which are general physics, mechanics, thermal physics, electricity and magnetism, optics and modern physics.
