Jennifer Lopez’s first husband, Ojani Noah, fears her fourth marriage to film star Ben Affleck could fail. Cuban-born dishwasher-turned-actor Ojani Noa stole the singer’s heart 25 years ago. While working at a restaurant in Miami, Ojani charmed J-Lo shortly before his big break at Selena, reports Mirror.com. After a whirlwind romance, the pair married in February 1997, but by the following year, their marriage fell apart. He now leads a quiet life out of the limelight, but has kept his word about the latest journey of his former love.
“I wish him and Ben all the best, but I can’t believe it will last,” the 48-year-old told MailOnline. “Jane loves to be in love but she’s been engaged six times and Ben is the number four husband.
“I was husband number one and he told me I was the love of his life—when we lay in bed on our wedding night, he said we’d be together forever.” Jennifer told her YouTube channel that “I’ve been married three times, and once was nine months and once 11 months, so I don’t really count them”.
After their split, Ojani attempted to pursue a career in film. He appeared in films in 2002, 2004 and 2007 and also worked as a producer.
Although they divorced in 1998, the pair remained friends for many years.
Lopez publicly dated P. Diddy soon after their split was finalized. She married Chris Judd in 2001 and Latin music star Marc Anthony three years later.
Lopez is convinced that Ben is her despite her first husband’s comments and says she has never been happier.

The couple, who were previously engaged in the early 2000s, tied the knot earlier this month in an intimate Las Vegas wedding. Confirming the news to the On JLo fan newsletter, the singer-actress wrote: “Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out that love is patient. Twenty years old. Exactly what we wanted Last night we flew to Vegas, queuing for licenses with four other couples, all making the same trip to the wedding capital of the world.”
All five children of the couple were also present as witnesses.
