London: UK Police Downing Street has widened its investigation into the events of the lockdown after a new photo of Prime Minister Boris emerged johnsonAnd are ready to interrogate more than 50 persons.

A Christmas “quiz night” held at Johnson’s No. 10 offices was not previously part of a Metropolitan Police investigation that could potentially see him and employees fined for breaking COVID restrictions.
But police said they were now looking into the incident in December 2020, when the Daily Mirror printed a picture of Johnson and two associates – one wrapped in tinsel – near an open bottle of sparkling wine.
The Met also confirmed that, as of Friday, it will send “formal questionnaires to people over 50” asking about their activities on the dates of at least 12 gatherings in Downing Street in 2020 and 2021.
Police noted that the document “has formal legal status and must be answered truthfully within seven days”.
Asked whether the government would confirm whether Johnson was one of the recipients, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace told BBC radio: “The prime minister has said he will be full and transparent.”
Separately, the opposition Labor Party has called on police to investigate how Johnson used a wealthy Conservative donor to fund the grand redevelopment of his Downing Street flat.
Labor lawyers wrote to the Met that there was a “reasonable suspicion” that the prime minister had broken anti-bribery laws, and that the force was “duty-bound” to investigate.
The police confirmed receipt of the letter and said that the demand is being reviewed.
A Downing Street spokesman said in response: “These allegations are clearly untrue and a clear misinterpretation of facts.”
