Jolt to Congress ahead of Jalandhar bypolls, former Kartarpur MLA Surendra Chaudhary joins AAP

The Congress party has suffered a setback before the by-elections to be held in Jalandhar, Punjab. MLA Surendrapur’s former MLA Surendra Chowdhary has joined AAP. Surendra Chowdhary is with Santokh Chowdhary. Punjab’s special Bhagwant Mann included him in the party. With this, there have been two members of the Chaudhary family. One is with Congress and the other is with AAP. Talking to the media, Surendra Chowdhary said that he has taken this step after being influenced by the public welfare message of the Aam Aadmi Party. Surendra Chowdhary said that the future of Punjab is safe only in the hands of Bhagwant Mann. By-elections are going to be held in Jalandhar on 10 May.

It is alleged that recently former Congress MLA Sushil Rinku had also joined the Aam Aadmi Party. Delhi General Secretary Arvind Kejriwal (Arvind Kejriwal) and Punjab General Secretary Bhagwant Mann (Bhagwant Mann) included Sushil Rinku in the party. It was DNAesthetic. Sushil Rinku has been a Congress MLA from Jalandhar West seat. Before the by-elections, the joining of both these leaders in the Aam Aadmi Party is being considered very important.

The Jalandhar seat has traditionally been considered a Congress bastion. The seventh seat of Jalandhar had fallen vacant after the death of Congress MP Santokh Chowdhary. He died in January of a heart attack during the party’s ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ at Phillaur in Jalandhar. He was 76 years old. Let us tell you that the Jalandhar seat will go to polls on May 10, while the counting of votes will take place on May 13.
