Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has notified the recruitment process to fill 991 posts of Clerk and Stenographer in various departments of the state government. Out of the total posts, 964 vacancies are for Clerks while 27 are for Stenographers. Candidates can apply online for the recruitment on the official portal of JSSC at jssc.nic.in till 19 June.
However, the window to pay the application fee will remain open till June 22. In case of any error, candidates will be given five days from June 26 to June 30 to make any corrections in their application. The recruitment will be subject to the existing reservation policy of the Jharkhand state. Candidates applying under reserved categories will have to mention the same in the application form and submit relevant supporting documents for the same.

JSSC Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications: To be eligible for the recruitment, an applicant must have a passing certificate of class 10th and class 12th in the relevant subject from a recognized school education board.
Age Range: The applicant must fall in the age group of 18 to 35 years as on August 1, 2021. For reserved categories candidates, upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years.

JSSC Recruitment 2022: Application Fee
The application fee for JSSC Clerk Recruitment 2022 is Rs 100. However, a relaxation of Rs 50 is given to the candidates belonging to SC and ST category.
JSSC Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through written test followed by typing test or computer knowledge test. The final selection will be done on the basis of those who clear all the rounds.
JSSC Recruitment 2022: Salary
Those selected for the posts of Stenographer will get between Rs 25500 to Rs 81100, while those selected for the posts of Clerk will be paid between Rs 19900 to Rs 63200.
