A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Kelly Mulroney first founded the concept of Bruxie in Orange County in November 2010, introducing a new take on the sandwich. Bruxie hand-bread and hand-batter all the ingredients to prepare delectable dishes for your dinner.
The most popular items on the menu are the fried chicken and waffle sandwiches. I tried a few dishes from the menu and here is my experience.
Bruxie, Delhi
The Mighty Cheese Burger was really mighty with loads of ingredients – the big lamb patty with romaine leaves, tomatoes, pickles and sauce – it was simply delicious. The Original Waffle Sandwich with Fried Chicken Breast delivered a whole new savory waffle experience, and it was a delight. Buffalo wings tasted good but I wish they were crunchier. We’ve all had sweet waffles from different places, but the Creme Brulee Waffle from Bruxie turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever had. To complement my meal, I ordered the Ginger Ale, and it was really refreshing.
The menu also includes Crispy Chicken Tenders, Egg and Waffle Sandwiches and delicious, very sweet waffles from Bruxie’s proprietary recipe. And I intend to try more of these soon. In the future, Bruxie plans to expand its presence nationally and internationally. The company initially decided to bring some Bruxie goodness to Gurugram and now through its latest outlet in Defense Colony.
