World Cup winning captain Kafue set to visit football-crazy Kolkata to build FIFA World Cup, the Brazilian great said in a video message on Monday.
“Here’s Captain Kaifu You See India In November,” the two-time World Cup winner said in his video message.
“Kolkata is a very special place and I have heard that the people of Bengal have a huge Brazilian fan following,” he said. The 52-year-old will inaugurate the Kolkata Police Friendship Cup and play a charity match. Kafue will also organize a football workshop with budding young talent in the city, the organizers announced.
