Kantara Hindi Box Office Collection: Rishabh Shetty’s film is running at a steady pace at the box office. The film, which released in Hindi after being successful in the south, has created a stir in the ticket window for good. The Hindi dub of the film is expected to earn close to Rs 75 crore by the end of this week. Apart from these, reports claim that Kantara has surpassed the box office earnings of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise.

‘Kantara’ helmed by Rishabh Shetty was released on 30 September and received an overwhelming response from the audience for its story and amazing visuals. Recent media reports claim that the film has earned more than Rs 350 crore. With this, Kantara surpassed the box office collection of Pushpa: The Rise.

A tweet from Box Office South India claimed, “#Kantara beats #Pushpa1’s final gross. #PushpaTheRise – 350.3 Cr #KantaraMovie – 350.7 Cr.”

The film has raked in over Rs 50 crore in the Hindi market after its third week of release and has already crossed the lifetime collections of actor Yash’s ‘KGF: Chapter 1’.

About Kantaras

Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, Kantara follows the character of Shetty, playing the role of a Kambala champion, who comes face to face with an honest forest range officer. The film deals with the politics of land and the issue of man versus nature.

Kantara was released in Kannada version and Hindi version on 30 September and 14 October respectively. The film is written and directed by Rishabh Shetty. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under Hombale Films, the film stars Rishabh Shetty, Saptami Gowda and Kishore Kumar in lead roles.
