Kapil Sharma wishes marriage to CM Bhagwant Mann
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday tied the knot with a Haryana doctor Gurpreet Kaur in a small private ceremony as per Sikh customs at his official residence in Chandigarh. Kapil shared a picture of the newlyweds on Twitter and wrote in the caption, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to elder brother @bhagwantmanji and @drgurpreetkaur on their marriage. Paramatma always happy (sic).”

Bhagwant Mann’s wedding in Chandigarh
The Chief Minister of Punjab had made a surprise wedding announcement a day earlier. Mann and Kaur’s union is considered an arranged marriage. This is the first time that the wedding ceremony was held at the Chief Minister’s residence. Mann, 48, divorced his first wife Inderpreet Kaur in 2015. They have two children from that marriage – daughter Seerat Kaur Mann (21) and son Dilshan Singh Mann (17), who attended Mann’s swearing-in ceremony on March 16.
