Several fishermen, who were released from the Landhi District Jail, Malir, Karachi, were arrested and sentenced to imprisonment nearly four years ago, reports Sama TV.
He was released after the Sindh Home Department issued orders for the same.
The newspaper quoted the jail superintendent as saying that the authorities in India have confirmed the citizenship of the fishermen.
Indian fisherman is scheduled to leave Lahore and will then be taken to wagaho border where they will be handed over to the Indian authorities.
Landhi Jail officials said 588 Indian prisoners, mostly fishermen, are still lodged in the jail.
