Karan Johar celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday (May 25, 2022). He left no stone unturned to make it more special for himself. On Tuesday, he threw a midnight party at home to ring in the special day with close friends and family. The guests present included Gauri Khan, Farah Khan, Manish Malhotra, Maheep Kapoor and others. Each of them shared glimpses of the closed-door party on their respective Instagram handles – and all we can say, it was a total hit! Gauri Khan uploaded an Insta-post featuring highlights of the party. In the post, we can see Karan cutting the three-tiered cake while his friends sang a birthday song in the background. “Happy birthday. You really are the one and only,” she captioned the post. While Karan looked dapper in his all-black outfit, what grabbed our attention was the gorgeous white cake. Later, we got a closer look at the birthday cake via Maheep Kapoor’s Insta-story. It was a white three tier cake with gold splatters on it. “Happy 50th Birthday Karan,” the cake read. to keep track.

Maheep Kapoor further gave us a glimpse of what was on the menu for Karan Johar’s birthday dinner. In one of his stories, we saw a set table with a menu on top. From the Spinach-Tofu Salad and Roasted Butternut Squash Salad to the Roasted Chicken, Honey Skinned and Lamb Shanks – the spread had it all. If you thought the party ended with this closed door celebration, you are absolutely wrong. Later in the evening, Karan Johar threw a grand party at YRF Studios, which was attended by many from the film industry. From the pictures that surfaced on the internet, we can see that the guests included Hrithik Roshan and his alleged girlfriend Saba Azad, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Vijay Deverakonda, Tiger Shroff, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shweta Nanda, Varun Were. Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and others. Reportedly, Karan Johar hired celebrity chefs Marut Sikka and Harsha Kilkhand for the food items and desserts at the party.
On the work front, Karan Johar, marking his 50th birthday, took to Instagram to make a special announcement about his upcoming projects. He said he would start “shooting” his “action film” in April 2023. Apart from this, his directorial venture ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is all set for release in February 2023. Apart from this, the comedy drama ‘Jugjug Jiyo’ produced by Karan Johar will soon hit the theaters on June 24, 2022. The film stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Prajakta Kohli in the lead roles.
