Karan Malhotra: I would never offer Sanjay Dutt a role he doesn’t deserve – Exclusive – Times of India

speaking about his relationship with Sanjay DuttKaran said, “My connection with Sanju sir started only after Agneepath. I really enjoyed working with him on Agneepath. His way of owning Kancha Cheena was incredible. When we were making Shuddh Singh’s character So Sanju sir automatically came to mind.”

Talking about his experience working with Sanjay for the second time, Karan recalled, “He came on the sets and asked me ‘beta bata kya karna hai?’ I told him what is this scene and these are the dialogues. Then he would ask me, ‘Tu ek baar kar ke dikha’. I will play the whole part for him and he will look at me with enthusiasm like children, watching. Will do.” He further added, “Ultimately, Sanju sir makes the role his own and delivers in his stellar screen presence and style. Now with him, I don’t have to tell him anything in words. After forging creative partnerships and bonds, Karan has resolved to only give his best while working with Sanjay. He said, “I would never go to Sanjay sir for a role that doesn’t deserve him.
