This time on May 10, 73.19% voting took place in single phase in 224 constituencies of Karnataka. This time 1% voting has happened in Karnataka since the 2018 elections. The voter turnout in the 2018 assembly elections was 72.36%. For the first time in Karnataka, over 94,000 senior citizens and decision makers voted from home. There are 2614 candidates in the fray on 224 exposures in Karnataka.
JDS is expected to be the kingmaker once again in Karnataka. 5 out of 10 exit polls are predicting a hung assembly, that is, the government cannot be formed without the help of JDS. In the poll of polls, there is a survey of BJP getting 91 seats, Congress 108, JDS 22 and others 3 seats.
