Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board (KSEEB) has announced the results of the 2nd Pre-University Certificate (PUC) examination today, April 21. The results have been released for all types of students including regular students, repeaters and private candidates. As per the data provided by KSEEB, out of a total of 702,067 students who appeared for the exam, 524,209 students have passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 74.67.

Students need to score 33 percent marks to pass the exam. Students who miss the minimum marks requirement by a small margin will be promoted by giving grace marks. Teachers can give grace marks only up to 5%. Students who get less marks will have to give compartment exam. However, students who fail in all subjects will have to repeat the class.

Step 1: Go to the SMS application of your phone.

Step 2: Type ‘KAR12’ space and mention the registration number written on your admit card on the message box.

Step 3: Send message to 56263. In this way students can get information about their scorecard. It will include the marks of the subjects and the total marks obtained in the class.

This method can be useful when the candidates face some internet issues, traffic or server problem on the official website of the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board. Apart from this, students can also access, download and save their Karnataka 2nd PUC Result for future references through DigiLocker.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2023: How to check through DigiLocker

Step 1. Visit the official website of DigiLocker, click on Sign-up. Or a candidate can download the application form through Google Play Store.

Step 2. Enter the mandatory details like Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, Aadhaar Card Number. Submit the certificate.

Step 3. A student will receive a security pin on their registered mobile number. Share PIN with the app.

Step 4. Set up a username. When the results are out, go to the DigiLocker application or website

Step 5: Login using your credentials.

Step 6: Now, under ‘Education’ category, select Karnataka 2nd PUC result

Step 7: Select the Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2023 Category.

Step 8: Enter your Aadhar card number, and the result will be shown on your screen.

Out of 6,83,563 students who appeared for the exam, 4,22,966 passed last year. The overall pass percentage stood at 61.88 per cent. The pass percentage of regular students was 67.14 per cent while that of private candidates was 26.75 per cent. Among repeaters, only 23.29 per cent students could clear the Karnataka PUC 2nd exam. In 2021, the board recorded 100 percent pass percentage. In 2020, the pass percentage was 69.20 percent.
