Karnataka SSLC Result 2023: Registration for supplementary exam begins

The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board announced the Karnataka SSLC Result 2023 yesterday i.e. 8th May. overall pass percentage in Karnataka SSLC Result was 83.89 percent.

To qualify the Karnataka SSCLC exam, students need to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks. The students who did not qualify their exam can now apply for the supplementary exam. The registration for the same started yesterday and the last date to apply is May 15. The supplementary exam can be the last chance for the students to clear the exam. As per the reports, the date sheet for the supplementary exam will be released soon on the official website of the board karresults.nic.in,

Looking at the results declared yesterday, girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 87.87 per cent, while the pass percentage of boys stood at 80.08 per cent. A total of 4,25,968 boys appeared for the SSLC exam in Karnataka, 4,09,134 girls appeared for the Karnataka SSLC exam.

The pass percentage of students from urban areas dropped, while it remained the same in rural areas as compared to the previous year. In urban areas, the pass percentage registered in 2023 is 79.62 per cent as against 82.04 per cent recorded last year. Moreover, this year, four students scored 625 marks in the Karnataka SSLC exam, unlike previous years when only 145 students scored the highest marks in the exam.

This year a total of 59,246 students were benefited from 10% grace marks. Grace marks have been reduced to 10 percent as compared to 5 percent last year.
