Karuthalam Kaithangam court held at Karunagapalli

Finance Minister KN Balagopal has said that technical glitches in files should not affect services to the public.

Grievances can be redressed expeditiously through the courts. Since officers from different departments can jointly investigate complaints, there will be no delay. Most of the complaints received have been resolved and more courts will be held in future,” said the minister.

Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister J.K. Chinchurani said that the state government was implementing development activities focusing on the welfare of the common people. Ms. Chinchurani said, “It is possible to deliver government services to the public at the earliest through forums such as the court.”

Out of 626 complaints received from the taluk, 346 were considered. Most of the petitions pertained to revenue, local self-government, civil supplies and fisheries departments. Of the ration card applications, four were transferred to the priority category while 12 title deeds were decided to be issued and three of them handed over. A total of 288 complaints were received during the spot registration and the ministers directed the concerned officials to take immediate action. The court was attended by district-level officials from all departments, AM Arif, MP, MLA Sujith Vijayan Pillai, CR Mahesh, district panchayat president PK Gopan, and Karunagapalle municipality president Kottiyil Raju were also present.
