Kashmir alpine player Arif Khan has qualified for the upcoming Winter Olympics 2022 to be held in Beijing. Arif secured his place during the qualifying alpine skiing event in Dubai.
Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, Farooq Khan has congratulated Arif Khan of the Sports Council and Department of Youth Services Sports for this achievement and expressed hope that his performance in the Beijing Winter Olympics will be a medal winner.
“The creation of world class sports infrastructure with training and coaching facilities has started showing results and more and more players are being selected for national and international sporting events,” Farooq Khan said in a statement.
The Beijing Winter Olympics, 2022 are scheduled to take place in the People’s Republic of China in Beijing and towns in neighboring China’s Hebei province from February 4 to 20.
