New Delhi: Two teachers were killed in a terrorist attack on a government school in Sangam Idgah area. Srinagar Jammu and Kashmir Police gave this information on Thursday.
“Around 11:15 am, terrorists shot dead two school teachers at Sangam Idgah in Srinagar district,” a police officer said.
He said that the area has been cordoned off and a search has been started to nab the attackers.
It comes after three people including the chief pharmacist Makhan Lal BindruThey were shot dead in separate incidents in Srinagar and Bandipora.
A road in Srinagar will be named after Bindru, Mayor Junaid Mattoo said on Wednesday.
“The road from Haft Chinar Chowk to Jahangir Chowk (where Bindru Medicare is located) will be named Shaheed Makhan Lal Bindru Road as a tribute to his contribution to the society,” Mattoo said in a tweet.
