Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding: Guests ate Rajasthani, Gujarati sweets from local shop

, guests attending the wedding of Bollywood Stars Vicky Kaushal And Katrina Kaif Tasting Rajasthani and Gujarati delicacies prepared by a local sweet shop at Six Senses Fort Barwara Hotel in Sawai Madhopur district. Janta Jodhpur Sweet Home, a shop located in Sawai Madhopur, sent 10 types of sweets to Six Senses Hotel, where the star couple will tie the knot on Thursday. The sangeet ceremony was held on Tuesday, followed by the Haldi ceremony on Wednesday.

Arjun Upadhyay of Janta Jodhpur Sweet Home said, “Guests are very happy with the taste of the famous dish ‘Mawa Kachori’ of Jodhpur and ‘Gond Pak’ of Bikaner. Gujarati ‘Dhokla’ is also served in breakfast. ‘Samosa’, ‘ ‘Kachori’ and ‘Dhokla’ were sent to the hotel for the Haldi ceremony.”

Ten types of sweets weighing about 80 kg were sent to the wedding venue, including ‘Moong Dal Barfi’, ‘Gujarati Bakhlaya’, ‘Kaju Paan’ and ‘Choco Bite’. Apart from sweets, 100-100 pieces of samosa and dhokla will be sent to the venue on Thursday.

It was earlier reported that the menu for Katrina and Vicky’s wedding will include some special local dishes. The food menu includes live kachori, dahi bhalla and chaat stalls, kebabs and traditional Rajasthani dishes. It also includes a five-tiered wedding cake curated by an Italian chef. North Indian cuisine includes kebabs and fish platters.

Traditional Rajasthani dishes like Dal Bati Churma, will be part of the spread of around 15 types of pulses made from different pulses. The wedding cake will be extra special – a blue and white five-tier Tiffany Wedding Cake curated by a chef from Italy. There will also be separate stalls for paan, golgappa and other Indian delicacies.
