Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s party has moved the Election Commission against BJP leaders’ allegations that they take decisions on the basis of “black magic” and “advice from tantriks (tantriks).”

Seeking the prosecution of state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) complaint said, “We call these allegations false, fabricated so that people, especially be prepared to create and spread hatred among voters.Illustration of Munugode Assembly Constituency [Mr Rao or ‘KCR’] As an unbeliever of God and a believer of devils and demons.”

The TRS, in another complaint to the commission, had alleged that BJP candidate K Rajagopal Reddy could be disqualified on a contract worth Rs 18,000 crore. The BJP has denied the allegations.

On the “tantrik” charge, “statements of BJP leaders are not only criminal as per the Indian Penal Code, but also triable under the Representation of the People Act,” the TRS complaint said, accusing the two leaders of violating the election code of conduct. has been accused of. ,
