“Resurrection”, the fourth film in the “Matrix” franchise and the first since 2003’s “The Matrix Revolutions”, reunites the actor with Moss and director Lana Wachowski. Moss reprises his role as Trinity alongside Reeves Neo, reports IndieWire.

Speaking on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to promote the film, Reeves elaborated on the Daredevil stunt.

Reeves said the craziest thing he had to do was “jump off a building … I’m going to estimate about 46 stories.” When asked by Colbert why the filmmakers didn’t just resort to post-production VFX, Reeves said, “Because it’s Lana Wachowski and it’s ‘The Matrix’ and you need natural light and you can’t do it in a real way.” I mean, there are strings. Carrie-Anne and I jumped off the building holding hands. The actor said he did the same stunt multiple times to look natural.

“We wanted to do it in the morning in perfect light, so we did it about 19, 20 times.” The “John Wick” star said that initially his heart rate was “slightly elevated” but after jumping off the building for the first time, he decided to let the fear go.

“You have to block it, or don’t block it, but deal with it, absorb it, and just be there, and do it.” Reeves, 57, said, “It was awesome. Can you imagine jumping off a building with stars?” When asked if he’s ever bungee jumped, Reeves said, “Never, because I’m scared of it.”
