Delhi Congress President Anil Chowdhary alleged that the incident in the House was “proof” that ruling party MLAs take bribes and the AAP was involved in “grave corruption”.

The Delhi Congress on Wednesday accused the Arvind Kejriwal government of being “throat-deep in corruption”, after an AAP MLA was shown a bundle of cash inside the Delhi Assembly, claiming a private contractor tried to bribe him. accused of involvement.

Delhi Congress president Anil Chowdhary alleged that the incident in the House was “proof” that ruling party MLAs take bribes and the AAP was involved in “grave corruption”.

“The extent of corruption in the Kejriwal government became clear when Mohinder Goel, AAP MLA from Rithala Assembly, while waving a bundle of notes in the Delhi Assembly, alleged that a contractor had bribed him,” Choudhary said.

He alleged that on one hand AAP talks about ‘India Against Corruption’ and on the other hand the party itself indulges in corruption.

While Arvind Kejriwal talks India Against corruption, his own party is involved in corruption. The acceptance of bribe amount by a ruling party MLA was also sufficient proof that he was in connivance with such corrupt contractors.

He alleged, “Accepting such illegal money invites punitive action and waving such illegal money in the assembly was also an illegal act and the Speaker should take cognizance of it.”
