Kejriwal invokes Mahabharata, says BJP has central agencies, they have Lord Krishna’s support

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday sought to project the contest between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections as a “crusade” like in the Mahabharata, where the ruling outfit has no control over the CBI. There are “armies”. And ED is on his side, while his party has “Lord Krishna’s support”. Kejriwal, who is also the convener of the AAP, likened the BJP to the defeated Kauravas of the Mahabharata, and the Pandavas, the victorious heroes of the Hindu epic.

Addressing a townhall meeting in Himmatnagar town of the poll-bound Sabarkantha district, he claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-ruled Gujarat was yearning for a change and AAP has got immense support from the people. This is the reason why the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s house in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy, said AAP’s national convener.

Sisodia, who holds education and finance among several key departments in the Delhi government, was also present at the town hall event. “It is a dharmayudha (religious war) like the Mahabharata,” Kejriwal said. How Duryodhana (from the Kauravas) and Arjuna (from the Pandavas) approached Lord Krishna for support before the 18-day war began.

Arjuna said he wanted Lord Krishna by his side, while Duryodhana asked for his army, the CM said. Taxes, police and lots of money. We have Shri Krishna. God with us. And in the end truth will prevail. God lives in the hearts of people, He is God. They (BJP) may trouble us, but the people are with us,” he said at the town hall organized by AAP as part of its election campaign.

Kejriwal said his government in Delhi has implemented far-reaching reforms in education and healthcare which were not seen in 75 years of independence. .case is false. If there was even a bit of truth (in the allegations against him), and Jain was even a little dishonest, I would have expelled him (from the cabinet), as I did with any other minister,” said the Delhi CM.

The AAP leader said that there is zero tolerance for corruption in his government. “We don’t tolerate even a bit of corruption. But they don’t see corruption. Two months ago they put my health minister in jail, and now they want to arrest Manish. Sisodia in the next 3-4 days. Why? Because they want to stop the good work being done in education and healthcare,” he said.

Kejriwal said Gujarat, where assembly elections are due by the end of the year, wants change after 27 years of BJP rule. “Till now Gujarat had no choice. Now, they have a good, honest option, and people want to do good work in the state like what is being done in Delhi and now Punjab (ruled by AAP) too,” said the bureaucrat. Became a politician.

He told the gathering that even rich people in Delhi get themselves treated in government hospitals and their children are getting admission in government schools from private educational institutions. Even if he belongs to another party across the country. He didn’t do any such thing. Instead, they will send him to the CBI to arrest him. He (Jain) was arrested for obstructing work (in the health sector) in Delhi. We will not let the work stop in Delhi. It may be disrupted for a few days, but it will not stop.

Kejriwal said that if voted to power, AAP will provide free and quality healthcare and education to all in Gujarat irrespective of their financial condition. He said health services as well as medicines, medical tests and operations would be free, and there would be clinics. On the lines of Delhi’s “Mohalla Clinics” were opened in every village and ward of the cities of Gujarat. The Chief Minister said that the infrastructure of government hospitals would be improved under the AAP government and new medical centers would be opened if needed.

Kejriwal also said that after coming to power in Gujarat, AAP will ensure that people get “zero electricity bills”. He said, “Everyone wants revdi (freebie). Only I can do that, they will not do it. This is my first guarantee. If we form the government, we will give free electricity (up to 300 units) in three months.” ,” They said. Kejriwal said in Delhi that his government has ensured that the youth get employment.

He said the ruling BJP is least concerned about giving employment to the youth in Gujarat as it believes that people will have no one else to vote for. Kejriwal reiterated his party’s pre-poll promises of providing 10 lakh government jobs, Rs 5,000 unemployment allowance and Rs 3,000. Allowance to women above 18 years of age.

He said his party would also bring a law to stop question paper leaks if voted to power in the state.
