Kejriwal, Sisodia to address Bhavnagar town hall on second day of Gujarat tour

Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia will address a townhall on education and employment in Gujarat’s Bhavnagar on the last day of their two-day tour of the poll-bound state.

Both the leaders participated in a voter interaction program in Himmatnagar on Monday, where they reiterated their election promises while making new promises in the programme.

He said that as his party did in Delhi, they will provide all health services, free tests and medicines, opening of mohalla clinics in each ward, renovation of old hospitals while opening new ones and free treatment to all accident victims.

He promised the protesting conductors and bus drivers of Gujarat that his government would fulfill all their demands after coming to power in Gujarat.

On the issue of grade pay, Kejriwal said that the Gujarat government has only increased the allowances of police personnel, if his government comes to power, they will give grade pay to police personnel while seeking their support in the upcoming assembly elections.

Meanwhile, his deputy Manish Sisodia promised to recruit 1 lakh new teachers within 1 year of forming the government in the state. He said that there is a shortage of teachers in Gujarat, if his party comes to power, one lakh new teachers will be recruited while students will get talented teachers.

Kejriwal also defended Manish Sisodia, who is currently underground Investigation Regarding alleged irregularities in implementation of New Excise Policy of Delhi Government by CBI.

“Aren’t you ashamed that the CBI raided a man who did wonders in five years, did what the current political parties could not do in 70 years and made government schools the best. Such a man should be found in India,” he said. Gemstone”

He also expressed apprehension that Sisodia would be arrested in the coming 2-3 days, which would damage the education sector in Delhi for the next 3-4 months.

This is Kejriwal’s fifth visit to Gujarat in the month of August. So far they have given 5 guarantees including free electricity up to 300 units to the people of Gujarat, 3000 unemployment allowance, 10 lakh government jobs, freedom from ‘raid raj’ and implementation of Fifth Schedule and Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act in tribal areas of Gujarat.

AAP is trying to carve a niche for itself in a state dominated by two parties ruled by the BJP since 1995.
