In the video, without naming Arvind Kejriwal, Kumar Vishwas is heard saying, “I told him there are people living on the margins, people associated with Khalistani organizations, don’t take their support, during the last election…will become chief minister.” …he told me not to worry, one day I will become the chief minister of the state or the first PM of an independent nation.

The allegation comes just three days ahead of the February 20 elections in Punjab as the state is witnessing a triangular contest between the Congress, the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party.
Kumar Vishwas was one of the founding members of the Aam Aadmi Party in 2012. However, he broke away from the party a few years later and has been vocal in his criticism against Arvind Kejriwal since then.
AAP is fighting the 2022 Punjab elections and has emerged as the main challenger to the Congress and the BJP. The party has chosen Bhagwant Mann for the chief minister’s post for the state.
