Kejriwal said BJP workers should keep getting ‘paid’ from the BJP but should work ‘from within’ for ‘AAP’.

Addressing a press conference in Rajkot on the last day of his two-day visit to Gujarat, Kejriwal said BJP workers would benefit from all the “guarantees” given by him to the people if his party comes to power in the state.

“We don’t want BJP leaders. BJP can keep its leaders. BJP’s ‘Panna Pramukhs’, workers from villages, booths and talukas are joining us in large numbers. I want to ask them whether BJP has served them What was given to him in return for it. Even after so many years in the party?” AAP’s national convener asked.

Kejriwal said the BJP did not offer free and quality education, healthcare and free electricity to BJP workers and their family members, but AAP would care about their welfare.

“You (BJP workers) can stay in that party but work for you. Many of them get paid (by BJP), so take the payment from there but work for us, because we have There’s no money.”

“When we form the government, we will give free electricity, and this will apply to your homes as well. We will give you free electricity 24 hours a day, and build good schools for your children where they will get free education. We will provide free electricity for your family members. and will ensure quality treatment and offer Rs 1,000 (as allowance) to the women in your family,” he said.

Appealing to the saffron party workers, Kejriwal said there was no point in continuing in the BJP after 27 years of rule and ensuring its victory again.

He further said, “I want to tell all BJP workers to stay there but work for you. You are smart, work for you from within.”

He raised the issue of the recent attack on Gujarat AAP general secretary Manoj Sorathia and feared that “there will be many more attacks on the people of Gujarat for supporting AAP”.

“The attack on Manoj Sorathiya shows that the BJP is desperate. It doesn’t understand what to do. It is looking at defeat,” he said.

Kejriwal said that AAP is not like Congress and cannot be intimidated by the ruling party.

Challenging the ruling BJP, he said, “You have dealt with the Congress so far, but we are your people. We consider Sardar Patel and Bhagat Singh as our idols.”

Kejriwal said that if the BJP thinks that it can scare AAP by doing such attacks, then it is wrong.

“We are not afraid. We are not cowards. We will fight a hard fight against injustice and corruption. Six crore people of Gujarat now have a choice (in AAP). They (BJP) will give an answer to 27 years of misrule . ,” They said.

He appealed to the people not to resort to violence.

“I want to tell people that in the coming 2-3 months the number of attacks will increase not only on you but on people. They will attack those who say they will vote for AAP. Those who speak against BJP. They will be attacked. They are going to attack a large number of people,” the AAP leader said.

He said that people should not resort to violence but be patient and express their anger by pressing the (EVM) button to oust the BJP.

Kejriwal, who has announced a string of “guarantees” to reach out to different sections of the society in Gujarat, said he met police personnel, Anganwadi and ASHA workers, health workers, traffic police, representatives of village defense teams Was. GRD), auto driver, and home guard, among others during his many visits to the state.

The AAP leader said that he would meet each group separately in the coming days.

“We are short of time. You all promote us in your own way. Promote us especially on social media. Set the social media on fire. I want to appeal to all of you to promote you on social media. We will meet you separately and solve your problems.”

Assembly elections are due in December this year in Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Kejriwal also attacked the state government for forming a committee of three ministers to listen to the grievances of the protesting groups.

“Your intention is not right. You don’t want to (resolving the issues of protesting groups). You will give them lollipops and mislead them. I want to tell all of you not to listen to them,” he said.

On the last day of his two-day Gujarat tour, Kejriwal is scheduled to attend a ‘townhall’ meeting of sarpanches and ‘village computer entrepreneurs’ in Surendranagar on Saturday.

He will visit Surat city in the evening to attend an ‘aarti’ at a Ganesh pandal, which has been set up outside AAP’s office in Seema Naka area and is named ‘Aap ka Raja’.
