Thiruvananthapuram: A driver attached to the governor’s convoy was found dead at the drivers quarter near the city. Kerala Raj Bhavan Complex Here, the police said on Sunday.
Thejas (48), a native of Cherthala, was found hanging inside his room around 2 am on Sunday, police said.
Raj Bhavan sources said that his associates found a suicide note as his WhatsApp status and found him hanging.
The police have also found a suicide note which states that he took this step due to personal reasons.
Police said, “The body was found this morning. After the interrogation proceedings, we will hand over the body to the relatives.”
Raj Bhavan officials said the driver was on deputation from the tourism department.
