Kerala “Human Sacrifice”: The Main Accused A “Perverted”, “Pleasing In Brutality”

Police said Rosselin went missing in June and Padma in September.

Thiruvananthapuram:

The main accused in the murder and mutilation of two women in Kerala in a case of “human sacrifice” was a man who lured women out on social media to take them to the homes of the murdered couple.

Muhammad Shafi, the school dropout, was the “agent” who supplied two women to the massage therapist couple, Bhagwal Singh and his wife Laila.

Police said Rosselin went missing in June and Padma in September. He sold lottery tickets in Ernakulam.

Shafi found them on social media and asked them to come to the couple’s house in Pathanamthitta. He’s done this before.

Kochi police chief CH Nagaraju said Shafi was “addicted to sexual perversions and delighted in cruelty”, and was a “psychotic”.

The top cop said, “Shafi committed sexual perversions on women. Shafi supplied women for sacrifice and cannibalism to customers.”

Police said Shafi strangled Padma, beheaded and cut her into 56 pieces. The remains were placed in a bucket.

Layla allegedly strangled Rosalyn and had her breasts cut off.

Investigations indicate that one of the women was tortured with a knife. “It is as if human flesh was eaten,” said Mr. Nagaraju.

Some reports said that Shafi had promised money to women to work in pornographic films.

The police commissioner also referred to Shafi’s allegations of attempt to rape an elderly woman. He said the injuries he suffered were similar.
