The SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examinations for this academic year will begin from March 31, while the Plus Two Higher Secondary examinations will begin from March 30.
SSLC exams will end on April 29 and plus two exams on April 22, General Education Minister V. Shivankutty said in Kanhangad on Monday morning.
Plus Two Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSE) examinations will also be held from March 30 to April 22.
The government has also decided to conduct model exams to make the students familiar with the exam pattern.
SSLC model exams will be held from March 21 to March 25. Plus Two Higher Secondary Model Exams and Plus Two VHSE Model Exams will be conducted from 16th March to 21st March.
The IT practical exam for SSLC students will be conducted from March 10 to 19, for Plus Two Higher Secondary from February 21 to March 15, while for VHSE from February 15 to March 15.
The detailed timetable and ‘focus areas’ on which students need to focus are expected to be published later in the day.
