The Kerala Police on Sunday registered the arrest of popular tattoo artist Sujeesh PS, who has been accused of sexually abusing several female clients.
Police said he surrendered late on Saturday night and was initially taken to Cheranallur police station for questioning.
The police here registered six cases against the renowned tattoo artist after several incidents of sexual harassment surfaced after a post allegedly revealed rape by an 18-year-old woman on social media.
Kochi city police commissioner CH Nagaraju said a total of seven women approached her and alleged that Sujeesh sexually assaulted her when she went to his studio to collect ink.
