Kevin Spacey is set to create his first speaking gig in five years with a masterclass at Italy’s National Museum of Cinema in Turin, where he will also receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The two-time Oscar winner (“American Beauty”, “The Usual Suspects”), who has kept a low profile outside court appearances since being accused of sexual misconduct in 2017, talks onstage on January 16, 2023. ‘s program. Earlier this month, Spacey won a legal victory after a New York jury found him not liable in a civil sex abuse trial brought by fellow actor Anthony Rapp.
However, while he lived in London and worked as the artistic director of the Old Vic Theatre, he still faces allegations of sexual assault allegedly by three men in Britain. As Variety reports, Spacey has pled not guilty.
The actor has also been ordered to pay “House of Cards” producers MRC after the political thriller’s episode-order was cut in the wake of abuse allegations against Spacey.
Turin is the city where the American actor returned to acting last year, starring as a police detective in the low-budget indie drama “Luomo Che Disegno Dio” (“The Man Who Drew God”) directed by Franco Nero.
During the shooting of that film, Spacey visited the museum and was given an informal tour.

Tickets for the Kevin Spacey Masterclass will go on sale on December 20. It has not yet been decided whether the event will be live-streamed or not.
