Spreading some beans on the same, Yash said that it is not so. According to him, even South films never got this kind of reception. It started with people playing the dubbed versions here and the audience became familiar with the content they were creating. Initially, it started as a joke for entertainment as no one valued the place. He further added that now people have become familiar with his storytelling style and his cinema. So it didn’t happen overnight. It’s been a few years and eventually, they started to understand content, expression of direction and all. And then he got a direct chance to be associated with ‘Baahubali’, SS Rajamouli sir, Prabhas, he took that initiative after ‘KGF’- it also entered from a commercial angle, Yash told bollywoodlife.com.
Elaborating further, Yash said that in our culture, there are a lot of differences, and this should become our strength rather than our weaknesses. According to him, it is all about relativity. He also pointed to the fact that there are a lot of films from Uttar which are massive hits. He has seen a lot of movies of Hindi stars and they all love him.
However, although makers of Hindi films have entered the market in the south, Yash feels that instead of releasing the film, other aspects like good distribution, good production houses should also be considered. Producers should find producers who can sell the film and they would like to see the situation where the film is released across India and they hope that will happen soon.
